We just wanted to pop in with a little update from behind the scenes…

We’ve been working away—during nap time, late at night, in between school drop-offs—getting this course ready for you. And it’s turning into something really special.

We decided to start each module with a little story from our journey—because we’ve made every mistake you can think of.
We didn’t have a guide when we moved to Spain. Just Google, guesswork, and a whole lot of crossed fingers.

So this course is kind of our way of saying:
Here’s what we wish we had.
No fluff, no overwhelm—just real, clear help for visas, taxes, healthcare, and everything in between.

And because every situation is different, we’ve included 1:1 calls with us too. Not because we think we’re experts, but because we’ve been there—and we’re genuinely excited to walk through it with you.

As you might know, we recently had our baby girl, Sofía. So we've been a bit quiet as we've settled into our new routine. 

And we just have to share that although we've already been through it once, we still marvel at how amazing the birth experience can be in Spain.

We felt so heard and taken care of during the entire process at the hospital. They let us bring in everything we needed to feel at home, took care of us for two days, and made sure that Sofía never left our side. 

It was a beautiful experience. And we're so grateful to all the wonderful people who work at the hospital that took such great care of us. 

And also, the food was SO good!! Which we don't think we've ever heard anyone say about hospital food. 😆 

These are the kind of experiences that make us feel so secure in our decision to raise our family and build a life in Spain. 

And now that we're settled into our new life, we are diving right back into the course and working hard to get it ready so that you can do...

We've just been approved for our visa renewal!! 😱 🎉 

This is so incredibly exciting because our next renewal means permanent residency!

And, once we become permanent residents, we will be able to stay in Spain indefinitely. 

We can't believe we are one step closer to fulfilling our dream of raising our bilingual family in Spain. It's what we've been working towards for so long. 

And it just makes us all the more passionate about doing the same for you.

While our path won't necessarily be your path, we think it's useful to share what moving towards permanent residency has looked like for us. Check it out below!

Well, the elections are over... 🇺🇸 

And with that in mind, we thought it would be a great opportunity to talk about the reasons why we moved to Spain four years ago.

Although it's difficult to encapsulate all of our reasons in a short email, in a nutshell we wanted: 

• A life that wasn't focused on work
• Access to better food quality 
• To live in a place that lets us travel more for less
• A safe environment to raise our growing family
• To finally learn Spanish and raise a bilingual family
• To be a part of a culture that prioritizes relationships and community

And today, we are so grateful to call this beautiful country home 🇪🇸. 

No place is without its issues. But, we would never go back on the decision we made three years ago. Especially because of the wonderful people that have accepted us into their community.
