Well, the Elections Are Over…

And with that in mind, we thought it would be a great opportunity to talk about the reasons why we moved to Spain four years ago.
Although it's difficult to encapsulate all of our reasons in a short email, in a nutshell we wanted:
- A life that wasn't focused on work
- Access to better food quality
- To live in a place that lets us travel more for less
- A safe environment to raise our growing family
- To finally learn Spanish and raise a bilingual family
- To be a part of a culture that prioritizes relationships and community
And today, we are so grateful to call this beautiful country home 🇪🇸.
No place is without its issues. But, we would never go back on the decision we made three years ago. Especially because of the wonderful people that have accepted us into their community.
Nothing exemplifies the character of the Spanish people more than how they've come together to help those affected by the floods in Valencia. If you've not seen this yet, we recommend you check out our friend Ana G. on Instagram. She's originally from Valencia, but currently lives in our home town in Kansas 🌻.
Our goal with our support is that when you get here you get to experience the culture in full, to make friends with your neighbors, and to build a life that you love. Just as we have!
