You get access to Mr. Amigo on your phone or computer. Head to Start Here, introduce yourself and bring your first question, then see what is coming up in the community.

Why is Mr. Amigo a monthly membership?

Because moving to Spain takes time, and there is still plenty to figure out once you arrive. Membership gives you somewhere to keep asking questions and meeting people before and after your move. You can cancel anytime, and you can contact us to ask about pausing.

Can I ask the experts questions?

Yes. You can tag experts with general questions in the app and find their contact details. Membership does not include private consultations or hiring an expert to do your visa application, tax return or other individual work, which are paid separately.

What if I am still a year away from moving to Spain?

You can start now. Ask questions, learn about places from people who live there, and meet other members making their plans. You do not need a booked flight to join.

Do I need to take the survey before joining?

No. The Your Spain Starting Point survey is a free way to point you toward the right people if you are not sure where to begin. You can join Mr. Amigo without taking it.

Yes! Tag our experts with your questions right in the app. And many of them offer a free consultation inside Mr. Amigo, too — we think it matters that you get to know someone before you decide whether to work with them.

What membership doesn’t cover is hiring an expert to actually do the work: your visa application, your tax return, anything that takes their individual time. They’ll explain their own services and fees when you’re ready for that.
